100 Words – You Know What to Do

I didn’t need that part of my thumb anyway.
This will be brief as I’m typing mostly with one hand. Apparently I don’t know the difference between a green onion and my thumb and as I type I’m looking at the substantial slab of flesh I lopped off my thumb. It’s not big enough to have gone to the hospital, but big enough that I’m still leaking blood some 7 hours later.
I hope it goes without saying that I’m not up to commenting and writing a full post just now, but to get you started, the word is
COMPLIMENTS
I’ll put up the linky tool tomorrow. Unless I get gangrene. I’m just sayin’.

Ooooh! You and me both … I totally cut into my fingernail — half way down! — about a week ago. It was amazing that I didn’t pass out, as is usually my wont, instead I kept thinking about how messy the blood would be for my young children to discover along with my unconscious body (see how I wound that in there, still smarting from missing last week!)
Anyway, I really hope you do have time to set up a linky, only because that will indicate that the tetanus didn’t get you either. Meanwhile I’m going to have to grow a new (and nicer, I hope) nail.
Solidarity!

Yeowch! I think I’ve met my onion-chopping doppleganger. (I’m terribly prone to cutting myself when chopping any kind of onions. No other vegetable…just onions. It’s strange.)
Wishing you a quick recovery.

Ouch! I’ve had a few finger incidents in my life. You never realize how important they are until you can’t use one!
Hope you recover soon

My entry is up. I was totally going somewhere else – and then a knock came on my door – while I am taking a Mental Health day in order to get away from such things – they tracked me down. Mega sigh!
Hope you’re healing and not gangrenous, Ms. VV! Hugs from my house to yours – I’ll try not to grumble any more.

Mine is called After The Thrill Is Gone
If you do get the gangrene, we can start a new website called The Band Of The Hand after the Bob Dylan song.
Get well…I’m writing now.
